MIDI Drum Tracks to Audio Drum Tracks

Should have realised that haha seems obvious now. Will you just freeze the original midi tracks/busses once you've printed them?

Also, if anyone watched the vid, that seems a very long winded way. He routes the output to aux channels...fine... Then routes the aux to more aux :s for every drum

yeah that seems unnecessary, I personally would just render and if I wasn't satisfied yet, maybe render groups of drums separately

Bit of a nooby question, but once I have all my aux channels for each drum, would I then create a master drum bus, which then goes to the stereo main output and send all drums to master drum bus?

I always print my programmed drums.

My drums go like this.

Drum verb buss
Parallel comp buss
Master drum buss
--- Kick
------Original
------Replaced
--- Snare verb
--- Snare
------Original
------Replaced
--- Toms
------Tom1
------Tom2
------Tom3
--- Cymbals
------ Hats
------ OH
------ Room

So all my drums get sent to the master drum bus(actually, all tracks in a folder, using reaper)
Then from there they get sent to the parallel comp and verb.
I blend sounds a lot, so i need to have most things doubled, one being the original sound from Addictive drums and the other being the sample I'm using.

I rarely print effects to my main drum tracks until I am sure I am happy with whats going on.

Thanks for the info bro!

Do you use seperate tracks for your original sample and a seperate track for your replaced?
Also, when you print your drums do you print the combined sample? E.g snare

Will you print the original and the replaced as one track or print one original and one replaced track?

If that makes sense :p

I get a little confused when printing drums aha

Theres the way on the video I posted up there ^ where he sends all the outputs from within Kontakt to spereate audio tracks, hits play and just records the MIDI hits as audio files

Yeah I was just asking is that a standard way of printing drums?

Also, will you program all your midi drums on one track (with seperate outputs) then print once you finished mixing/processing them?
