I was playing around with one of the files in the rate my tone thread in reaper and it had a midi file for the drums, so after messing around for a bit I managed to get it to play samples from one of my vst's. Anyway I thought great I'll try making my own midi in Anvil so after it was done i imported it into reaper but it won't play back any samples. Is there a common mistake noobs to midi like myself make when generating these files?
