I just like having dvds of people playing guitar or drums etc. I just love watching people play - it's really interesting for me. I'm sure loads of you will agree that listening to a virtuoso play can be one of the most inpsiring things and is really interesting.

Interesting point that. Watching Petrucci playing on DT's Live at the Budokan shows just how little fuss and movement his virtuosity involves. With me, even playing a major scale looks spidery and awkward, yet his hands barely seem to move...

Yeah. It kills me. The good ones always make it look easy. I guess a huge part of playing well is economy of motion.
