From Sea of Tranquillity:

The Staff of Sea of Tranquility would like to share our condolences to the family, friends, and fans of Shadow Gallery singer Mike Baker, who passed away on October 29th of a heart attack at age 45. Mike was a founding member of progressive metal band Shadow Gallery, and also lent his superb vocal talents to various other projects over the years.
Mike, you will be missed by all of us!

I personally remember him very much for his talents in Ayreon's "The Human Equation" singing the part of "Father". You can see him in this video for the song "Loser":

Godspeed, Mike.

This is really sad. I haven't listened to Shadow Gallery in years, but they used to be one of my favorite bands. I still remember 'Tyranny' very fondly; I wish I still had that album, actually. As Ozzloaf said, this is really unexpected. I'm very sorry for his passing. =[

I only heard him the Ayreon stuff him did, but he was great, very theatrical. Pretty Sad.

Had to listen to their two records today. Carved in Stone and Tyranny. It's so sad now.
