If you still don't know about this band, it is time now. Cause they make outstanding progressive metal. Their new album "Walking on H2O" will be out in 2007. You can check the medley in this address: http://www.roundrec.com/walking-medley.mp3

You can also learn more about the band in : http://www.roundrec.com/

PS: I opened a thread about this band before, but i searched for it, and it couldn't find. So i think it is ok to open up a new one.

Wow. The drummer did a shit load of stuff with other bands! So it's a side project?

I know what else to look for when I go cd shopping now.

This is exactly not a side project of Daniel Flores. This is his "original" work. All other stuff he does may be called side projects :) This project is his dream child i am sure.

Ahh.... What threw me off was the fact that all the other band members also did a shit load of projects as well.

You are right on this. Daniel Flores is for me, the most hard working guy in the progressive scene. He plays in a bunch of projects, albums etc. He also produces most of them. This guy never stops. But "Mind's Eye" is different for him. Cause it is the music in his mind. I think it is the same for Johan Neimann. He also plays in "Therion" but you can hear his best in Mind's eye. On this last one, he also plays all the guitars :) I am happy you like them.

"A work of art" is their third album. But i suggest it to anyone into melodic progressive metal and rock. It is their best up to date.

"Room with a view" and "Shallow water" are together as a concept in the album. They are two of my favorite songs of all time. Check them out.

I suggest their latest effort, "A work of art". But if you want some harder progressive metal album, i can suggest the second album "Waiting for the tide". There are lots of acoustic stuff in the last one. I love all their albums, so i can not decide what to suggest :)
