this is my first post here, and first off, wanted to comment on how great, civilized and informative the forum is.

i know this is an old mix. and its a hardcore band. its already been pressed, so i dont plan on fixing anything. but i was just wondering what you guys thought about it on here. because as we all know, we look back on our work and always find things we wished we would have done differently.

it was done all in the box. pro tools mix plus rig. about a year ago.

It's good. The vocals sounds wierd @ 0:36... Other than that, everything sounds good, maybe not outstanding, but good.

fuck yea dude! i loved pass the flask! this is also one of my fav songs on the album! i think for the most part the album is mixed really well. i can always discern every instrument and part despite the rough vocals. i loooove the vinyl record effect on this track, was that done with pro tools also? very slick!

ya, its in pro tools. a plug in called vari-fi. i have done it with tape, but the plug in is way easier.

I think the mix sounds amazing, most especially the drums, awesome work man!

I too really used to like the bled (but im def out of my hardcore phase now) I always like how the kick drum wasnt over sampled if at all. it all flows realy nice, the guitars really fit that type of music really well.
