I would say Mike Amott and Chris Amott of Arch Enemy, Alexi Laiho of Children of Bodom , and Sinergy, and Herman Li of Dragonforce. Any others that can play a lead and shred, and has a unique sound?

I would agree with Alexi, as far as creative heros id have to say dan swano and blakkheim. Listen to diabolical masquerade's deaths design album, its brilliant, flat out brilliant.
