I got the new modern drummer yesterday, and what can I say, I was surprised as hell at the readers poll results. Jason Rullo, who I never thought modern drummer or anybody else but us have heard of them, and he gets #2 on best up and comer, and this is what really surprised me, he got #5 on best recorded performance, and the other drummers in best recorded performance are dave weckl, neil peart, carter beauford, and john dolmayan, so having Jason Rullo there is an amazement, since all the other drummers are known to pretty much anybody. I wanna give my congratulation to Jason, he is an amazing player, and he deserves better than what he got, but I am glad he got what he got for not being that well known.

I really like Rullo's playing and I am happy he got his due to a small degree. I am even digging his work on Redemption more than SX. Having said all of that, I think it's hard to beat Zonder and Arrington when he had the chance to show off his work.
