Ive been looking around at some monitors and im on a limited budget. Right now im monitoring with creative 2.1 Speakers 
.I constantly find myself mixing with my woofer control accidentally moved up or down. Its annoying as shit and the speakers arent anything near what i want to be monitoring on. Ive been thinking about M-Audio bx5a deluxe. $300 for the pair and thats around what im looking to spend. Anyone have any experience with these or reccomendations for something better around that price? Also Right now my means of recording guitars bass and vocals are toneport ux2 and gearbox. I want to upgrade to a better interface and while looking i came across the presonus firebox. I dont want tons of inputs because i dont plan on recording natural drums. What im looking to do is record a dry input through the firebox and then use software amp plugins such as revalver, pod farm, etc. Sound like a good approach? Let me know if you guys have any alternatives.
