The only way to tell is to audition them all for yourself, preferably in the same room, right next to each other. From what I know of those, my money would be on the generation 2 KRK Rokits. I heard a set of 6s and 8s up against Adam A7s, Gennie 8040As and Event Opals and the Rokits held their own. Gen 2 seems to have improved upon them somewhat.
 
Personally, I'd steer clear of ns10s.
They produce distorted mixes (Bob Clearmountain told me).

Adam A7s are sweet.

Tannoy's I'm not a huge fan of, just don't like their sound.. The same with Mackies.

KRKs are really pronounced in the mid-range.. their VX range especially so.

I use Yamaha hs80s, and I've yet to find them "lacking". They are far more detailed than Ns10s, and less than the price of Adams.
