First off, I'm always looking to try new headphones and I just got 2 of these in today. They fucking rule. Scored them for under $22 each new on ebay and I am definitely picking up more for tracking.

I just got some Shure SRH440's this week and I actually prefer the sound of these Monoprice cans. WTF. My typical phones are the ATH-M50's and I feel these are kinda close to that sound signature.

Notes:
The cable is detachable, but does not lock. It is simply a 1/8" to 1/8" (3.5mm) cable. Cable is pretty thick and has good length. It comes with TWO 1/8" to 1/4" adapters and another much smaller in gauge and length 1/8" cable.

WOW

Awesome! That's great to be able to provide quality headphones to everyone in the studio, even when recording bigger groups of people (string section, choir, gang vocals...). You buy 10 pairs and have enough headphones to plug everyone in for the price of one high end pair.
