yea i bet they do. i bet they are also having the times of their lives touring the world. I bet they are also making a comfortable salary playing music for a living. I think this board needs to get over attack attack. i think we all know that 99% of the people here hate them. thats great. no one is forcing you to listen to them. :Smug:

first... i'm the first one to admit that they've "made it." so on one level, i'll def admit that i'm jealous they can live off music and i cant.
but thats not it. i dunno man, i think these guys are special. i mean, there are plenty of bands we cant stand for one reason or another, and none of us can agree on them. but we say "they suck" once, and then just walk away. we're done.
but THESE guys... there's something about them that provokes its own special level of disdain. there's too many things i dont like about them to have it nailed down just yet, but there's something there... something about them i just cant stand

Best part of the video.On a side note, breakdowns are one thing, but I think the thing that really gets to me is when a member or multiple members of a band make some sort of gesture to the crowd as if to signify that a breakdown is coming up, as if no one could smell it from a mile away anyway. Like that curly haired dude running his ringer past his throat as if to signify "The breakdown that we are about to play is going to kill you with it's heaviness." What the fuck man. That is extremely annoying. Then to play such a shitty cookie cutter riff afterwards just makes me want to mirror the gesture back to the dude, only my gesture would signify, "The knife I'm going to use to slice open your throat is going to kill you."

Exactly. this forum is getting to be like blabbermouth. Every band sux, every guitarist should cut off their fingers, every singer should drink drano. Reality is that if your band was known, some asshat would be sitting at his computer in his moms basement saying how much you suck. Everyone sux. No one is good. Everyone is limpbizkit to someone. Why are we talking about this band? Why if this band sux so much was someone following their career enough to know they had another video?

I don´t care really, im not jealous, there are like 10 millions better bands that are doing this for more money, having the time of their lives, and have more than 10 years doing it and will be doing it in other 10 years, i mean, bands that make true music, not fashion shit, these guys will only have a few years or less, and then in ten more years they will be on Vh1`s "most ridicuolus bands in 2000-2010". im open minden, but they are just horrible, with horrible fake music, not for nothing people think they are a joke, no one is forcing us to like em, and no one is forcing us to not to thing they are a joke.

i'm not standing up for these guys at all because they do look really fucking gay. but im sure other people rag on the music that you listen to. i mean everyone is going to hate something. some of the metal i've heard in here is so fucking gay. but it's all good. everyone has there opinions. i mean i've seen these guys live, so horrible. so so bad. but if it's what they truly love to do, they'll keep doing it. and pointless opinions won't really mattter!

no nothing special about the caps. and again no, I'm not sticking up for this band. I don't like them either. I just don't know why we always need a bashing when someone doesn't like a band. Its like limp bizkit and linkn park. No one ever seems to admit they like them them yet both bands sell epic amounts of cd's. Someone is buying this stuff. I think bands are like the joke, what do fat chics and mopeds have in common. they are both fun to ride but dont let your friend catch you. i hate lots of bands too. I dunno. i guess I just dont worry about the bands I dont like. The music business is going to always have crappy bands. you cant please all of us. The music business is a locomotive that we cant stop no matter how much we talk crap i guess. Musicians are a small percent of the general listening public. The average guy doesnt care if the bassist has a poodle do or the band does the running man sprint on stage. If chics think the guys are cute and the guy listeners can get lucky with the girls that are listening to them then bands like this will be poplular. I guess im pissing in the wind or preeching to the choir so to speak. you guys know this. Unfortunately the music business is less about music and more about business. its no different than a box of cereal at walmart. pretty package, bar code, advertisement moves more boxes. This band has a target audience for now. like someone said they are a flash in the pan here today gone tomorrow. as long as they get paid now and invest their money wisely they wont have to work a real job after the fad is over. making a living off of music is what we all strive for isnt it. seems like they win we lose.

But really, it's a pipedream. People work on exploiting patterns and fads, so the music industry will always be big business. Since it's a fashion that dictates a significant portion of what people listen to, wear etc. of course people will try to capitalize upon it. It's part of this godforsaken, hypocritical social model we use.
They even succeed in making it self-sustaining. So scenesters like these guys will actually willingly write this shit, their scenester fans will go apeshit over it, the label and touring company will rake in and pave the way for more scenesters to take their place after this fad has run its course.

I can certainly understand why a lot of people dislike this band; there's obviously MANY reasons why people would hate them. But I (for some freaky reason) actually enjoy them. They're trying to create some sort of hybrid of metal / techno thing... and I think they're on the right track. Think back to the early 80's... i'm sure fans of Priest, Maiden, Sabbath, etc. were pissed and were thinking the exact same thing when bands like Cinderella, Poison, Great White, Stryper, Dokken, RATT, etc. were all becoming super popular. I'm sure they all thought that those bands were "sell-outs" to metal and just trying to do what's popular. But, as we've seen, a large majority of those bands are stuck in the 80's, and truly did love that music their band created, otherwise, they would have sold-out to newer styles over and over again. My point... I'm actually glad bands like Attack Attack exist. It's introducing death growls and those grinding metal breakdowns to new crowds that probably never would have given that kind of music a chance. Consider Attack Attack a "gateway drug" so to speak into better music.
I will agree though that they all do look like big time douches.
And seriously, wtf is up w/ the keyboardist's gut flapping in that video? And why do they ALL have to have the SAME sideways combed emo haircut?
Anyway... I'll leave my opinion at that. They look like douches, but their music isn't far from bad either. It could be worse -- like listening to Lady Gaga's hermaphrodite music.
And speaking of "crabcore"... I've always thought the same thing when I first saw Robert Trujillo play bass. He tea-bags everytime he straps his bass on.
