More people know Simpsons than the First Amendment

I'm not a big Simpson's fan but I know some on here are so I thought I would pass this article on.

I am one of those. And although I do feel knowing at least SOME of the constitution is a good thing, I feel no shame in not knowing all of it.

i learned the constitution this year. I got a 98 out of 100 and i forgot the 1st amendment

Look at it this way though. TV watchers have the opportunity to watch the Simpsons ever day of the week. If that's not enough, we can make our own marathons with the DVD box sets. If they aired the first ammendment on the TV every night, we would all know that too after having watched a couple times.

This is a simple case of entertainment being cooler then knowledge. I could not agree more!
