Not like gritty or brutal works, but music that provides a sense of imagery/pleasure in your ears. This is mostly a vague thread that can include any subgenre, any aesthetic, etc.
I've just recently gotten into Avantasia, and while I'll admit that their music can be a hit-or-miss at times, this is by far one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard:
Other metal bands from the folk/power/symphonic metal subgenres can also produce beautiful melodies, but I'd like to mention Within Temptation; they make nice sounds without overdoing it:

An extreme metal song some might find beautiful as well:
I've enjoyed a good amount of instrumental compositions from Youtubers like Brunuhville and Adrian von Ziegler, and they made a couple of metal songs like this one:
