Most beutiful moment in prog metal.

Some i can think right away:

"Close your eyes, feel the sweet symphony of sighs" from "A Psychotic Waltz" by Psychotic Waltz. Also the main melody from the middle, to nearly the ending of "Into The Everflow" (same band)

The chorus of "Suite Sister Mary", the ending of "Eyes Of A Stranger", the chorus of "Killing Words", "I'll teach you to laugh and to cry, they're the same you'll see" and the chorus from "Screaming In Digital", and so many more from Queensryche

The cellos in "Change Of Seasons" and the ending part of "Dimensions" from "A Sense Of Change" by Sieges Even.

The chorus of Shadow Gallery's "I Believe" and most of their ballads' choruses.

The ending of Mayfair's "Ecstasy".

And to mention something forum related, "The Accolade" where R.A. sings "Into the morning sun. Down his chosen road he rides to save the world" and then the chorus.

Star One - Master of Darkness

just as the chorus comes in the notes go up a bit then keyboards kick in and the bass slides to a much higher note then Russell Allens vocals kick in, man that rules, then the 2nd time around it sounds more epic with more keyboards with the female vocals "CONTROL YOUR haaaaaaaAAA!!!!!AAAaaaAAaaaaaaaattee..."

Symphony X - On The Breath of Poseidon - the first 30 seconds!! man those keyboards are kickass.

Symphony X - The Oddyseyy at the end "THIS IS THE END OF MY ODDYYSSEEEEYY!!"

Opeth - Bleak - 3:14 "DEEVIOUS MOOOOOOVEMENTS ON YOUR Eeyyyyyyesss...." this is one of my most faveourite Opeth\whole music\metal moments ever.

but my faveourite prog moment would have to be:

Opeth - The Moor - at 7:50 when the drums have just faded out and theres that acoustic guitar going and the electric still in the background... this is probably my most faveourite of them all..

Green Day- When I come around.

Actually I think

DT- The Silent Man (once in a live time version)
DT- The Spirit Carries On

To name a few:

-Concluding part of V
-"One last time
We'll lay down today
One last time
Until we fade away"
-Through Her Eyes singing near the end
-Live TDWoT vocals near the end (Russ's spotlight)
-Another Day sax
-"Kissing the tears form my face
as they fall to the ground in silence"
-Intro to Cross the Bridge by Pinella
-Lazarus by Porcupine Tree
-The bridge of The Start of Something Beautiful by PT
-"Don't you crrryyyy"
-Vocari Dei by PoS (even though I'm not religious)
-"My thoughts get lost up in the skyyyyy"

Nevermore - Dreaming Neon Black, especially the title track and Lotus Eaters

Forgive me for naming an album instead of part of a song but.. Have many of you heard Pain of Salvation's "12:5"? It's pretty emotional and probably the most beautiful album I've heard.

Ayreon-The Valley of the Queens

Symphony X-Through the Looking Glass..."Do you believe, all the things that you see, are true? The start's where the end's leading you."

that entire album is beautiful! I love the piano solo in leaving entropia, and undertow was written perfectly for an acoustic set, and I love its vocal harmonies.

My beutifull moment is in 'V' the last somg where they do '' bow down to me..we will never understand''

In think my moment is,

- The piano solo in egypt
- The Odyssey - This is home ...in...

Mayby Queensryche - revolution calling
