My 200GB Slave Drive just fucking kicked the bucket out of NOWHERE and I had nothing backed up.

Anyone have any suggestions for a good HD, internal or external...i kinda like the idea/convenience of an external. I got mine 5 years ago, 200GB Western Digital. FUCK!!! So much stuff LOST.

looking over prices, and holy shit prices have dropped over the years. I can get 1000GB for the price of 200GB, 5 years ago.

It says external drives are slower, but are they that much slower? They seem really friggin' convenient if you want to transport it.

I have some kind of Seagate product. I bought it to back up my photos. It just reinforces the idea that I'm just a hamster in a wheel. I buy digital cameras to take digital pictures that I must save on my digital hardrive to view when I'm 90 years old but the technology won't exist at that point so it's really just a means to get money out of my hand and into someone else's. Ken, fuck computers man, go spend your money on a new bike or alcohol or something productive like that.
