mouse for recording??

Ok in all the big studio's i see this mouse with a big blue ball:Smug:

I was wondering what these are called and what brand? I want a better mouse cause my hands are cramping with this little one and i just don't know what name to look under or brand. So please any help would be nice

Are you sure it is a mouse not a trackball ?

yea there simular to those but seemed like it had a biger trackball thing and it was blue. Anyone know what ones im talking about?

They're pretty handy... I have 3 inputs for my audio/media comp. Mouse, trackball and gfx tablet...

Find myself just using the mouse for 9/10 things

You're thinking of the older Kensington Expert Mouse's, if I'm not mistaken.

Kensington Expert Mouse (which is actually a trackball)

It takes about a week to adjust to using a trackball. I would never go back to using a mouse for a DAW.
