"HELP IS ON THE WAY!!!"

He said that about 50 times during his speech tonight, I guess it's his slogan too. Says he wants to cut taxes for the middle class and implement national healthcare. Go Kerry.

As speeches go, his wasn't bad at all I thought...of course he played up his veteran background, the fact that everyone was duped into the war (including the senators who voted their support), and pretty much negated everything Bush stood for, including the loyalty to the Saudi family, heh...

...and outside, on the streets of Boston (not some Arab country), people burning effigies of Bush and the flag.

I like the guy, he seems genuine. First time I heard him speak and really paid attention to the whole speech. He drove some points home.

Plus his initials are JFK ...

My vote is sealed for the anti-Bush bit like Zod said, but Kerry's speech tonight was pretty good and I think I actually like the guy now. That Saudi bit was brilliant. :tickled:

*goes to look for Boston Bush Burn pics*

I thought the speech was a success, already some are predicting a 10% plus gain in the polls following the convention, for me the best part was when he directly invoked Bush's failed promise to restore trust and credibility to the White House. Can't wait to see (and posssibly take part in) the protests in New York next month...

Four more months!

Yeah really. I'd much rather fart around than go to war. I shouldn't be president though, I'd be assassassassinated within a month.

You all realize that Bush is probably going to win again though, right? Statistically, he's got a really good chance of winning just because he's already taking shits in the white house bogs.

Bear in mind, not that many people actually vote. It's all talk, but no voting.

No way he's going to win, and if he does somebody will blow his head off within a month. He's pissed off enough of his constituency to piddle away the sure-thing votes, and also the left is so enraged that the non-voters will get off their ass for a change and try to make a difference. With all the dissenters within his own administration there is sure to be a conspiracy of JFK proportions to remove his dumbass from office if reelected. This opinion of course based 100% on speculation. :loco:

I think if Bush wins, there is going to be real trouble in America ... somebody is not going to take that well
