Given that they've been all all over the sonic spectrum in their thirty years together, I think The Seer is a great representation of where they've been and why they're still relevant. Hell, despite not being a metal band, they are more extreme than most in metal and its sub-genres.

I could throw all sorts of adjectives out there – "unrelenting," "punishing," "beautiful," "frightening" – but in the end, it's just a really great record for lovers of adventurous music.

Haha, fair enough, man. It's certainly not an easy listen...but I find that demand intriguing and, ultimately, rewarding.

Hmm. That sounds like I'm talking about something other than music. Oh well.

Oh god, kill yourself. The White is a weak effort and while Ashes was a solid, solid entry...it pales in comparison to Marrow Of The Spirit. I might even take The Mantle over it, MAYBE.

Nightmares is the best Bloodbath album, and the only place that Peter has displayed even an iota of talent.

Ashes is obviously the only good album, and yes TFM is the best BB-album.
