iTunes because I have an iPod and it is pretty.

.

That and it's incredibly convenient, and allows me to organize my music on several parameters. I also like the album cover interface that I use when scrolling through albums or listening to them. The Visualizer is also pretty cool, it lets me focus on the music without getting too distracted.

.

Winamp would come in close second, followed by mocp :p

Foobar2k is excellent technically, but atrocious aesthetically.
With the amount of customization it offers, you'd be really surprised. For an idea,

Winamp. Been using it pretty much since forever and I've never seen any reason to switch to alternatives like Foobar. Winamp 3's suckiness almost made me switch, but I just ended up sticking with 2 until they released Winamp 5.

And Winamp has had support for audio CDs since like Winamp 1.0 (it certainly has had it for many many years).

Winamp for music, WMP for ripping albums I own to the PC.
My CD player is broken. An annoying problem with the tray, doing whatever the hell it wants.

I used to use WMP because I didn't know anything about computers and didn't know that other players were even available until I entered college. At this point, iTunes was popular in my dorm because of the ability to connect to other playlists, so I downloaded it and loved it. I've been using it for about four years now and can't imagine organizing my music with any other player. I still use WMP for videos though, as well as mp3s that I don't want added to my library.

Christ all mighty, what's up with these threads? Hey guys what brand of keyboard do you use lol i have a logitech.

Anyway, I have iTunes, which I only use to manage my iPod. I never listen to music on the computer (except for when I'm check something out on myspace). I have a stereo, a nice set of head phones (and an iPod, obviously) so there's no point in playing music on the computer.
