iTunes pisses me off sometimes. Sometimes when I buy albums I get songs that are corrupted and fail to download.

foobar2000 because with Firefox eating most all of my memory I can't afford to have my music player eating the remaining bits of it. Not to mention, tabbed playlists are amazing.

I've got 512 mb of ram and when I've got a few windows open, 2-3 MSN convos, soulseek, and foobar running I've regularly seen Firefox take up 250 of that.

Your computer sucks the balls.

I rec getting some ocz ram:
2 gig set here.
or
1 gig stick here. Be sure to buy two of them and make sure the latency matches!

edit: I'm assuming you use ddr still.
edit 2: Seriosuly, just get the platinum sticks, they =

To Mort: buy a another hard drive.

I bought a 500 gig internal one and my comp is lightening fast. I paid about $170.

There really isn't a need to get another hard drive if his already meets the 7200rpm standard.

Pins? Stick of memory you mean? I've got 2 256 for 512, I think like 2 more slots or 1 more I'm not sure but SD is expensive as shit anyways.

ehh... I think the memory I listed above will work perfectly for you; ddr = sdram, just as ddr2 & ddr3 are all types of sdram; the main difference being how fast they react, and how many connections are needed to plug into your motherboard [/layman].

If you do get memory, there are a few things you want to know:
Your motherboard has a limit for how much memory it can hold - to find this out just check your motherboards online site for detailed specs; old motherboards should typically max out at 2 gigs, so the link I listed above should be fine for you anyway... still though, double check.

Certain motherboards only take certain types of ram:
ddr3 won't fit into ddr2, just as ddr2 won't fit into ddr and ddr won't fit into ddr3. Be sure to buy the correct type of ram!

edit for the late post:
:zombie: RDram? Jesu...
