Definitely separate character class, wizards have to prepare their spells per day and sorcerers don't... but for our purposes here it'll do fine.

I think its really unfair to dismiss Sorcier Des Glaces in that way, because they do some really cool things on their first two albums (haven't heard the recent albums though.) It isn't 100% original, but it isn't exactly something that is a retread.

Wizard's Vengeance was kinda cool, wish the dude was a little more on key though.

Meh on that, I'm pretty picky about female vocalists and not big on trancy instrumentals. But I am definitely interested in more non-metal examples, been trying to get outta my comfort zone.
