Music that gets you all choked up...

there's also a number of porcupine tree songs, but i can't remember names off the top of my head, and don't feel like going over to the cd rack, ha..

so yeah between them and the songs on damnation, this upcoming tour should be pretty intense.

goin to see them july 18th!! woohoo

i'm just surprised, cuz they're going to a smaller venue then Opeth usually does, the two times that i saw Opeth before they played at much larger venues, i think its gonna be packed.... oh well

Speaking of PT, I forgot to add Russia on Ice to my list. That tour is gonna be great, but too bad they're not playing anywhere near here.

here they're playing at not just a slightly bigger venue (not sure how much bigger, but i think it is) its a way more popular one than usual, 930 club, right in DC, where all the crappy more popular radio bands play.

muahaha will be my third time seeing opeth!! :hotjump:

first time saw them with beyond embrace and Tapping the vein... and then at the metalfest, which was cool, saw my two favorite bands of all time

:headbang: Opeth and Nevermore :headbang:

3rd time, same here, first was with NEVERMORE, few years ago whenever it was, blackwater park/dead heart tours i suppose, second was earlier this year, deliverance tour

I'd be lucky if ANY underground band would come to Edmonton. Washington seems to get everything, underground and mainstream.

It also depends on the concert promoters. I know alot of people who would like to see IF, but they aren't coming to Alberta this summer at all. Promoters just don't care.

Opeth--Damnation, and face of Melinda for some reason
AC/C--Ride on
A Perfect Circle--Orestes & 3 Libras
Iced Earth Solitude
Nonexist--all the instrumentals
AIC--Would, or any AIC, as I miss his voice
Porcupine Tree, damn near all of it
TON--Bloody Kisses, and several others
NM--Chances three is quite saddening to me.
Pantera--Planet Caravan
Triumph--Lay it on the Line
krokus--Screaming in the night
Slayer--Dead Skin Mask, just the intro...don't laugh
Iced Earth--Died for you
