Music With Strong Associations For You

An Excert of X by Gorgoroth i think of looking through the fog once again at the Alaskan shoreline.
and Listening to Wrath of Killenstien with my best friend playing Resident Evil 4 for hours on end.

Having an internal organ fail blows. I can't even explain the feeling and how it feels to deal with it. A lot of times would rather just not be alive.

well mine was just the appendix, not a liver or anything key like that. It ruptured while I was on vacation and I was too stubborn to go to the hospital for a few days. Almost died. Sucked.

oh, and I associate MCR with sex, which is too bad because they suck.

My heart failed recently and almost died.

I love Yann Tiersen so much. His music makes me think of love and driving, because I always listen to it in the car when I see my boyfriend and there's a 2-hour drive to his place from the airport.

Nice, another Yann Tiersen fan. His stuff is phenomenal IMO, very 'real' in its delivery and effect.

I associated a lot of music with the game BZFlag, which I often play while listening to music. I also associate music with the time I first listened to it. For example, Wedard reminds me of this past winter break.

A lot of power metal and melodic death metal reminds me of my early college days, which I typically idealise as being more carefree and adventurous than my current life. I seem to avoid listening to a lot of the bands I did back then because I don't want to corrupt the positive image they hold in my mind.

Examples would be Children of Bodom, Stratovarius, Skyfire, Primal Fear, Nightwish, and (although they're more along the lines of thrash) X Japan.

Enslaved's Isa reminds me of long car trips. When I lived in Oklahoma and used to drive down to the Dallas area on weekends, this particular album always found its way into my CD player.

When I hear any Mortician song, it makes me think of the time I fell asleep on a venue floor while they played. I wasn't of age to drink yet and didn't pregame it so I'm still unsure of how that happened.

I'm sure there are more but I can't of any else atm.

A Perfect Circle makes me think of Super Mario for the SNES.
Opeth makes me think of Tony Hawk.
Lamb of God also reminds me Donkey Kong Country.
The Cardigans reminds me of Diablo I.
Daft Punk reminds me of flying to Japan.
Dredg reminds me of shitty times while in Japan.
Panic At The Disco reminds me of good times spent with a friend in Japan, mostly of driving along a particular bay.
Decrepit Birth, Bush, K's Choice, Severed Savior, Spawn of Possession, and Manes all remind me of driving to classes.

Closer by NIN somewhat obviously is my "sex song"

Hangar 18 by Megadeth reminds me of festival wrestling matches

Disturbed's Down With The Sickness reminds me of an ex

COBs - Follow The Reaper album I associate with Stockholm and stuff that happened whilst there. Mainly because I brought it over there and couldn't play it until I got home weeks later

Ruin by Lamb Of God just makes me happy and reminds me of numerous times I can forget where I am and just enjoy the music

I associate Carpathian Forest's Defending the throne of evil with one night at my friends house. I were in a bed with two girls kissing one and expecting a sexual encounter but no-oh. Times were hard. We were listening to CF on my request, I've never listened to them again because it always reminded me of the blackberry taste of her tongue (she was drinking vodka with juice).

Long story short, Carpathian Forest is a shit music not for romantic evenings.

I associate Keeper Of The Seven Keys Part II with sitting in my boyroom playing cards with my friends.

Not a direct association but Bathory - Nordland i associate with waking up,noticing it's dark outside, running out and taking the bus into town to go to school, realizing it's not morning but evening,in town walking into the record store and buying Nordland and taking the bus home again.

My heart failed recently and almost died.

I still smoke A LOT and my heart is burning tonight!.

If you suddenly stop posting, one of us will call 911...

...or will we?

That seems like something I wouldn't have needed to experience to figure out.
