Here's some lyrics I've written. I got a little stuck because I've been in a weird place in my head for a bit, so anyway, tell me what you all think.

When you look to the sky
What god well compell you?
What serenading choir full of lies
An ancient text dictates your fate
You lie and waste your days
Sending prayer to a false savior that awaits

Why? Do you fear life?
Judgement waits on every corner
With it's black soulless grin
Do you taste the seeds of hypocrisy
Or will you forever wander bleeing
Inside the narrow paths of your mind?

Open your arms, renounce your fear
Reality is pain & death & Pleasure all the same
Strip away the bondage of past years
Be the dreamer, drink your sins
Let your own beautiful darkness begin


OK so that's it so far. I play the piano and I'm trying to train my voice to sing death metal. So once I get to Seattle next year, I will be looking to start a band

Hey all, any female screamers out there? I'm trying to train myself to sing death/growly vocals. once I move back to Seattle I'm plannng on starting a band and I play keyboards, but would rather sing. So I'm going to take vocal lessons. However, anyone have any tips for me so I don't kill my throat?

does anyone know how to save a recording with a MIDI file on cool edit pro? im trying to cover a behemoth song by myself but whenever i try and save the entire thing it says it wont save the MIDI file with it

you want it as mp3?

you have to record the midi as audio first.

Okay, well.. it's all midi files.. four of'em. All vastly unfinished ideas, some of them only 30 or so seconds long and it's only guitar so far since none of them are finished yet... It's zipped but follow this link if you wanna hear it. Lets see if any of the guitarists on the forum can figure out the tuning in the "Untitled" one.

i found a website where you can convert MIDIs to mp3s. i did that and all i have to do is the solo and vocals to conquer all by behemoth
