Well I just got done reading his autobiography, and it's recent to within 12 months, and he even admits in there he's 'still an egotistical prick' but he also says he is leaps and bounds better than he was 3 years ago. And that I can believe. The guys is trying, and I give him props for that.

I'm halfway through his autobiography. I love the anti-hero-alpha-as-fuck-badass-dude vibe he's got going on, because it seems entirely legit. But he's obviously very, very difficult. And wow, the Metallicats really sucked as people! Better person or not nowdays, the man's got a strong character and probably isn't very kind, and I hope the guy that ends up working with him is not a fan of Megadeth, for his own sake.

Many stories were written about Dave, probably all true. He used to be a dumbass, but now he says he is a new person, God loves him and all that shit...

Anyway, IMO he is a great musician and Megadeth is one of the best metal bands ever. If he is a prick or not... I don't really care. Said that, I wouldn't work for him except if loads of money invloved!

I personally watched Mustaine screaming in anger at Chris Broderick in front of a lot of people, then threw his guitar and walked away, he menaced to cancel the show becuse some of his personal picks got stolen ( i admit it, i took one, just one), i also talked with his guitar Tech (Really nice Guy), i asked him "The guy is a moody huh?" he replied "Yeah Totally" and shared a couple stories as well.
