My band's album cover..plz vote

Travis Smith sent me 2 options for cover art. i'm just curious as to what the masses prefer. so plz vote with the uttermost sincerity.


Album will be released sometime in July/August. (recording in late June)

Theyre both damn good but

The first one, to me, would create kind of a better atmosphere for the album despite the fact that the second one is more atmospheric.

Both are good, honestly man. You can't go wrong with either.
Can I hear the album? I can decide really quickly if so.

Edit: Or at least what genre. Karmic says hum it in a microphone if it isn't recorded yet.

Great idea! Use one as the cover and the other as an inner booklet piece!

I would go with one, they both rock, but the death thing has been done so many times.

They're both damned sweet. But I like image 2, its classier, and just seems like a better ALBUM COVER.

And if you used cover 2, you could use the image of 1 behind the CD tray, which would be total badassness to see when you remove the disc.

The music is hmmm..hard to say. teh shit on myspace isn't really what we're doing righ tnow. I'd say its epic, slightly technical (guitar ability ranges between in flames and Nevermore)

I guess if I have to genre it i'd say

vocals = Enslaved (clean and black metal rasp/growl)
guitars = somewhere between opeth and Nevermore
Lyrical content = post apocalyptic/doomish.

songs range from about 4 minutes to 10.
