My custom Greg impulse (sample vs ASEM RECTO V30 L2.wav)

I take it you're liking the sound of the impulse eh? :D

I told you it had a ton of clarity and "real amp" characteristics ;)

Thanks a lot for posting the comparison. I'm very glad you're happy with it.

As I said, I made that test impulse in about 5 minutes using headphones and my stock RME preamp. Since I have much better preamps and monitoring, and I can really deliver when it comes to the impulses!

If you're willing, please post a similar link to this in my custom impulses thread in the FS section.

Josh,

I really haven't had time. Rene said he needed something quick, and I had time, so I just did it for him. I was actually doing some reamping the day before, so I had my mics out, and stands ready, so it was a quick job.

I know it's OT but.

Your huge pack of ripped album kicks is amazing and helps loads when trying to shape a bass drum sound. Thanks a lot. :D

BTW that new impulse sounds really good, great job as usual :)

''Were do I get this free impulse you're talking about?

Sounds great btw ... just a bit too dark for my liking. ''

if you can afford too then best you buy a custom impulse from Greg
these clips were eq matched to another guitar tone and the free impulse
just doesn't have the clarity as you can hear.

cheers dude, i still use these alot myself.

I used some post eq but it was the same eq for both clips,
just my usual raise in the 2k area basically. The amp
eq wasn't touched.

actually I just remembered for this particular clip the guitars were also eq matched
using curve eq.
