Finally got a chance to sit down and try the beta impulse, and I'm really digging it. No one's really posted a clip of how well it handles leads, so I thought I'd give it a go using my Rectoverb.

Out of interest Greg, have you considered using your lava soar cables
to create impulses? Would there be any significant difference in the quality?

Id really love to try out a comparison, old cables vs new - impulse style!
same set up obviously, only 1 difference being the cables used.

we did a small cable shootout at my studio. lava, canare, monster, mogami, horizon. . . the mogami won, hands down, to everyone involved using DI'd bass and guitar. bass went into a Great River MP2NV and the guitar into an A-Designs REDDI.
