I can't find a single decent photo of where I normally get my drums recorded, so have this shot of my drummer being a tit instead :p And the room he's in sounds rank.

Think it's (virtually) the same kit as in your pics Moonlapse.

Steve

i still don't have my own recording place so i record at a lot of different places. sometimes it can be anoying (carrying around equimpent all the time, bad accoustics, smell of piss in some places) but it's cool the have different accoustics on different recordings and it's cool to fool around. so here's some pics of the drumrooms i've worked with lately:

Brat Pack recordings (Snowstar Studio's, Panningen (NL) ):

very small, very dry sounding room, low bedget studio with a pretty decent sound, especially for that price.

Marat recordings (Vera, Groningen (NL) ):

recorded at the local venue, most bandmembers work there so they could use the place for free. the room is gigantic! fits 450 people...

Rush & Attack recordings (Kiehool, Bergum (NL) ):

the local rehearsal room where the band practices. the toilet is broken so evertone pisses everywhere (sink, shower etc.) smells horrible, sounds great actually!

The Achitect recordings (Studio Lobbes, Opende (NL) ):

one of the better known studio's in holland, great accoustics and litteraly every mic you want. you ask, they arrange it!

The Black Atlantic recordings (Viadukt, Groningen (NL) ):

local rehearsal "bunker" with i guess about 30 rooms, situated under a highroad. the accoustics are pretty poor, the isolation too (sometimes you hear cars driving over you) but the price is unbeatable (7 euro's for 4 hours)

Brandnewday (my own band) recordings (Popbunker, Leeuwarden (NL) ):

the place where we rehearse. we recorded the drums in one of the smaller rooms because it has an awesome punch in the kick. bass guitar in that room sucks however...

i dig your drum room, is that a window behind that corner wall? the light spraying out from behind it looks sweet
