my first 5150 clip.... emg81-od808-5150-v30-i5 & sm57

Ok guys...I finally got all my equipment up and running.

Signal Chain is :

-Ibanez MMM1 w/ EMG 81 (Drop A tuning)
-Boss NS-2
-Maxon od808 (Andy's Settings)
-5150 EVH (slightly modified Andy Settings)
-5150 Straight cab w/ new V30's X pattern
-Audix i5 (slightly off axis) on v30
-Sm57 (off axis) on same v30
-Maudio DMP3

I did one take per side (don't mind the sloppyness)..... 100% panning.

Guitars are absolutely dry! No eq.....no effects....no processing at all.

ApolloSpeed - Where did you find Andy's settings for the Maxon OD808 and the 5150? I've searched, but can't find them.

Noise101 - Andy's 5150/TS settings

Click on that, then click on the left where it says "pro tips" or something like that, then click on the top that says "guitar", and scroll down a bit and you'll see a set of 5150 and TS settings from Andy.

now still when i use andy's ts-9 setting's i seem to have less gain rather than more gain like most people here do, am i right in saying that using the marks on the dial's on a ts-9 that :-

Drive 9 oclock - About 3
Tone 11 oclock - About 4
Level 12 o clock - About 5

That looks like mine, so it's right . It's not really suppose to *add* gain. All it's suppose to do is boost your guitar's clean signal before hitting the preamp so that it hits harder and tightens things up. Maybe try replacing the battery in the TS-9 if you think something is wrong.
