After following this forum for some time, I've finally decided to post some of my work, hoping that I could improve my techniques with a little bit of advice from you guys.

This song is made in Reaper, using Addictive Drums and Gearbox for the guitars and bass (and vocals, too, come to think of it)

Guitars are:
SD JB -> UX2 -> Gearbox (DiamondPlate) -> Boogex with poidaobi's engl higher pres

Pretty cool tune Riga.. depressing is it not? wow... but that is what you are aiming for no doubt.
Few things i noticed, guitars could be a lot louder in my opinion... snare still sounds a bit thin, maybe add a sample or EQ it so that it has more mid for more "oomph"?

I have updated the link in the first post with a new version.
Significant changes:
- Guitars are now TSS-8505-Awesometime, quad-tracked
- Drums are Slate (I'm not entirely happy with them, I'm sure I can do much more)

Hmmm... I would give the guitars a little peak around 1.5-1.8khz. That should give them a little more presence.

Also the kick sounds a little dull. give the kick more attack and presence and it will sharpen up the mix as a whole.
