For the past year I have had writer's block from the general frustration of my band's last album, so yesterday I finally got motivated enough to write a new song, which I hammered out it about 30 minutes and have spent the last two days putting a scratch mix together.
Don't really care too much for criticism on the mix as like I said its a scratch track but any suggestions that I am not hearing (other than the bass is a bit too loud) is welcome, I am more into what you guys think of the songwriting, I was so high on life as I wrote it I can't tell if it is a fucking amazing song or if it is shit.

This song has a couple changes compared to any song I have written before, for starters it is in Drop A (7 string) and it is the first time that I focused more on the core instruments rather than the synths/orchestras as there are moments where it is only the core band and the orchestra sections are not as thick as they used to be.
