man, i never understood anyone's problem with Apple computers. i haveN'T (fixed, whoops) extensively used one since 1995 but they sure kicked ass back then. everything just made sense with them.

lolz @ emo

they were good back then ... now APPLE is the new Microsoft

Notoriusly bad laptops in the last few years, with dying hard drives, the whole Ipod battery fiasco, OS's that are still not that network friendly

all it took is some mass sales of their products and all of a sudden quality is in the shitter ...

I love my Zen personally. Had it for almost 6 months, works just fine, absolutely nothing wrong with it. I get about 20-26 hours out of it depending what I have to set the volume to (Some of the stuff on their I turn it up louder than others... or when I'm drunk).

The thing about OS X is that it is practically unusable

I mean, for something that is supposed to be user friendly, it sure does FUCKING SUCK a WHOLE LOT

The Creative Zens are both good and affordable, and the li-ion battery is top notch. There is nothing wrong with the headphone jack on my Zen Touch 20 GB, and I know of several people who have the same version - they're all perfectly satisfied with it.

We've had several Macs in my household, and I do agree that the old versions of Mac OS (especially 7.5 I think) were better than OS X. I have an iBook G4 for university purposes, and even though there are a couple of irritating aspects with it, I'm satisfied with it overall. For normal home/school users, Macs are decent enough. I still prefer my XP workstation, though.

Yo iPod are the pimp-juice you fucking pussies. "Boohoo my battery ran out"...buy another iPod or get out da game playa, dayum.

What's an Ipod?

I'm serious...

Judging from Rensei's it looks dreadful, but I'm sure the prupose is elsewhere?

I'm not sure if you're kidding or not, but an Ipod is a portable mp3 player. The last generation (5th generation Ipod) can play videos as well. And dreadful? Come on, take a look again...it's fucking grim :)

Btw, here's how it looked like when I bought it:

looks way better now!

Occasionnally yes. But 95% of my music consumption is at home with my cds and 4% on my PC to check mp3s. I can't really focus on music while underway, too many disturbance factors.

Yeah, I know what you mean...

I know what you mean, hence I listen to music that doesn't require focus.
