The official release date is 6/15 I think but Moribund has it in stock already.En Vind Av Sorg said:...THATS OUT!?!?! Does that mean the new Xasthur is out now too??!?
If you don't, you're gayer than Elton John.ReDilS.kCalB said:Scald - Headworm , random one I hope I'll like it .
Good, because on first listen, Nematoid didn't impress me too much. Usually not liking something on the first listen is a good sign for me though, for whatever reason.J. said:Headworm is somewhat different from the three demos, from which you heard.
This is a good practice to get into, usually with crummy promos I do this, but if I buy an album that sucks I usually get pissed at it and throw it in the corner.ReDilS.kCalB said:Fine . Anyway , I usually put on heavy rotation cd's I buy and don't like which , I hope won't be the case .
Stuff like Thee Maldoror Kollective and Aborym maybe, those are more like industrial black metal though. Maybe The Black Dahlia Murder? I don't care for them much, but they are kinda simliar to Funeris Nocturnum. Also , I saw NAD reviewed Funeris Nocturnum . I like this , but is there any band in their vein (modern black/death/thrash + some parcimonious but well introduced keys) playing more prog & a little rawer (or not) with longer songs . I'll admit it's a tough quest .
Oh dreamlord, you are so non-straight.J. said:Yeah, post grind is a good description. Or 'prog grind' might work. I mean 'prog' as in the truest sense of the word, not the gay genre.
