My mom hates CoB, but she listens to some metal. She actually went to Helloween and Nightwish shows with me. She was amazed how well the black dressed crowd behaves well

My mother likes Lacuna Coil and Brujeria (believe, she does), loves Theatre of Tragedy, hates Nightwish and said Floor from After Forever is the best singer on Earth.

My father hates them all, but likes After Forever and he doesn't give a fuck if I listen to this or that, since I don't disturb him with loud music when he's trying to sleep.

My mum likes metal. She loves Anathema, Blind Guardian, Iron Maiden, Savatage, Metallica (not only "Nothing Else Matters"), some early In Flames songs and some others. But she hates to death CoB, Cannibal Corpse and all that brutal death and black stuff. HAIL TO THE METAL-MUMS
By the other hand my father snobs metal and he's loves listening to Jethro Tull, Black Sabbath, Zeps, Stones and that stuff. He only likes a few songs from System of A Down and some Anathema stuff.

Great to hear there are more people with parents who likes metal. My mom loves metal of all forms - from Maiden to Old Man's Child. Dad however listens to nothing but Opera and 60's music. Not that there's anything wrong with that, I love 60's music myself...
