I don't think that'd work very well as a tattoo to be honest, the magic, so to speak, in those pictures will probably be lost when it's done in ink :|

I'm inclined to agree with Spaffe. What makes scenery like that magic, is the sun light that penetrates the ocean floor. And that would be impossible to tattoo, I'm afraid. If it did work, it would be pretty fuckin' awesome, though!

Not impossible, but very very very expensive to do what your implying (capture the exact scene) but im talking about capturing the basic geometry and motion of the kelp. It will sort of be a non-lame-ass tribal tattoo I suppose. Though I despise tribal tattoos...

Haha, yea, I agree, just trying to find somthing with light effects. Theres stuff with light effects/underwater thats 2938472938473 times better out there of course.
