Gonna have to cast another vote for the JSX here... The powerball IMO is just not good enough outside of jamming on it on your own. Every one I know who's had one around here has since ditched... It doesn't cut well enough live and it has a ton of ugly shit when recorded. Last of the engls I'd choose!

I dont understand the powerball hate. I own 12 higain amps and powerball is one of the nicest. And also mine is the e645 version that everybody hates. The trick is dont push any extra button, mid boost, extra bass bla bla. Dial it on its pure way and presence it a bit. I'll make a comparision video with rectifiers and peavey and am sure that this horror story will be ended.

The Rectifier hardly ever works, when it does its awesome but i would take the JSX over the REctifier every day off the week.

+1, the Recto is pretty difficult to translate through a mic at times, and the controls are very sensitive.
