not bad. I'd say get rid of the skull. maybe darken the red. dark-orange would be cool too. that ragged looking fellow is cool but you should make him proportionate to the tree and maybe get rid of the excess stuff that looks like sticks coming from the side of him.
EDIT: also if you make it darker you could change the Opeth logo to white and it would look good.

I like the tree and the clouds and the overall colors (but I agree that they could be darker), but I don't really think the skulls and the skeleton guy fit. I think that if you had just the silhouettes of the tree and all, it'd be a lot better.

As far as this looking like a Katatonia front cover... what? What Katatonia cover does this resemble at all? The closest (and only) thing I can think of is 'Jhva Elohim Meth', but they're not that close to each other. =\ ?

Edit: I just remembered the front cover to 'For Funerals To Come....' and yes, the idea of this picture is quite similar to FFtC. I just don't think the overall appearance looks Katatonic.

BTW, I'm not trying to take anything away from the picture, being that it was never meant to look like a Katatonia cover.
