you can of course mix the 3 channels as you like. the MD421 is just an option. standard is SM57/SM57 right

I made a quick test gog with the Ian Paice snare drum samples. It was made with an automated slicing process so I can't guarantee that it will work properly nor it's free from clicks. Note that It was pre-equalized and compressed to my own taste. It was made with Drumagog v4.xx. Feel free to tweak/improve it.

Some good tom samples are hard to come by. I'm sick of using the sneap toms(not because of how they sound, they sound badass).

What software did you use to slice them?
I need to do that quickly to use them in ApTrigga which I like better than Drumagog.
By the way is there any way of converting GOG to WAV?

Got to toss out a thanks too. Ronnie you realy do ROCK. If i can ever get our drummer to settle down and focus on one thing at a time i'll try and get some tom samples.

No prob, i have been using a mnemic kik sample to replace the beater mic on my latest project in combination with the natural port mic track, and its resulted in a real kikass adjustable kik sound. i will post the samples when i get done mixing.
