Yeah I've found that using condensers leads to loads of spill. My CAD M179's sound awesome on toms, great low end extension and tons of attack. But even in hypercardioid and spending time on trying to get placement right and using thick foam baffles I always end up with LOADS of cymbals.
So now I'm back to using dynamic's (E904 & E906) and I'm wayyy happier.

Hey Lasse, Just wanted to say that I took some time today and sliced up some samples. MAN! Awesome sounding. I just adjusted the mics to a sound i really liked and made them from that. Didnt use any of the OH though. Personal pref.

Anyway, thanks for always hooking this place up with awesome stuff like this!
When I can afford it, im certainly gonna buy your sample packs!!!!
