My trip intot he woods (w/pics)!!

 Thank you...
Oh and it's a -i found out on the dutch butterfly forum-
Agrius convolvuli, a nocturnal hummingbird-butterfly.
They told me there, that it's a kinda rare species so i'm a bit proud of the shots i have of this creature. Nature has it's ways, i shall say.
And yes Karen, i love this thread as much as you do and decided these piccies belonged here.
Ok, one more then:

The chalet where we were staying was in the middle of the woods and here's what 10 o'clock in the morning and some seeds lured to the terras:

The woods were beautiful, despite of a lot of fallen/broken trees due to a very heavy storm that went over europe, 2 weeks ago.

I was terrified.
The wind literally blew the pans of the roofs and i heard a tree crack..
it fell right between our and our neighbour's car!
A 15 year old beech snapped as if it were a lucifer...
A week later, we walked the woods nearby the Veluwe (Huge and very open area with nothing buth grasses and Heather) we witnessed total devastation in some parts. You could see the way the storm raged through the area, in the woods there were specific seams that were totally destroyed.
Fallen trees, cracked trees, dead animals...
I've witnessed total havoc.
