Hahah, I never thought of it that way! SQUEAL!!!!!

Iris, your pictures are great! I especially like the frozen water falling out of the tree trunk. I've never seen anything like that before. Good stuff! I'm glad you had a good time :)

Iris! awesome pictures!
I'm so happy to hear you got away from the stress and went to a beautiful place like the Belgian Ardness!

Those pictures made me sad..... I have been to Trois Ponts before...
my uncle owns a house in Basse Bodeux, and I really miss the charm of that place and good ol' Europa ;)

The weather looks crazy though! I was there in the summet time, so its really nice to see it white and frozen!
geweldig Iris! :Spin:

Merci Beaucoup, Madame.
Je spreekt aardig Nederlands :)

Mother Nature plays the strings of silence there, it mesmerized me.
I slipped out on frozen snow -down hill was steep- and fell, due to that given fact. I was lucky to land on my knees, otherwise i would have kissed the ground! The woods of Coo play with gravity, the landscape is rough and going hill up and hill down, made me dizzy sometimes :ill:

But having lunch on top of a hill with hot tea and croissants, enjoying the silence and all of a sudden, a bird of prey cries out and i may watch it fly through the valley? makes it all worth it.
I first went to the Ardennes in 1993, to Han Sur Lesse and going back now, made me remember. I love it there. And it's good to know, you've been there too. It's exactly as you say, it's the charm of that place.

The Three landing's point in Vaals is a perky titt' compared to the Ardennes!
And it's officially the highest geographic point of The Netherlands. Alaaf! :tickled: 323 meters above sealevel.
(that point in the ardennes is at 694 meters above sealevel)
Therefor, Holland is flat! Geez.. :dopey: at this:

Admit it. Holland is pretty flat, hm? :Smokedev:

Nine days in Austria, by IvS.

Beautiful pictures, Spongy!

The forest is a very special place...especially old growth forests.
I always feel humbled walking among something so ancient.

Btw, I failed to notice how old this thread was, but anyway...:)
