ok, sooner or later it will happen to some of us. what are your preferred names for a daughter and son?
my recent choice would be katharina / vincent

so, any more suggestions? and don't post stuff like "benjamin", because kids are utterly stupefied once they've grown up and bear that kind of name. i already had a hard time convincing my sister not to name her firstborn daughter "penelope".

Well, this will be a tough one cuz every country has different names. :D

Angelica? :D (Me mom's name and an anathema song, just perfect)

I can't remember any nice male names at tme moment but I guess Daniel is always a nice name like.

Elena is a nice name, I like greek names in general :) well also all other variations of the name are nice, like Eleanor or Helen (just in German it sounds stupid like always)
others: Sophie, Kira, Angelica etc...
for boys, Vincent is nice!!! I also like greek names there, like Stelios... dunno, they sound so good to me :)

i reckon it all depends on the character of the kid itself as well. I like names dropped here like Eleanor.
Names for lads i've always had in my mind were: James, Damien, Dirk (last one after my father - we have this name ritual in our family, i have my grandad's name). Yesterday i was giving this topic some thought as well and i thought Tools is sincerely a name i'd like :Spin: really

for girls, i like Siobhan or Luna. Heather, Marion, Katie i like as well.

I should watch out not too easily copy names from Shakespearian or Tolkien sagas :D

i'd pick jamie for a girl like susie. and colin for a boy. but thats like latin based names. i dont like greek names much. especially male ones.

I don't want kids later (but that's my thought right now, can always change), but a boy would be Lars (not inspired by mr Ulrich no :ill: ), Lander (haha not pronounced the English way) or Roel. I dunno about girls, don't like girlnames very much :) Maybe some Scandinavian name, I like those.

Because a long long time ago, in a galaxy far far away, i wrote you a message to have your soulseek information. So you wrote me an email and I sent you my list of CDs (excel file). By the way you have also seen my real name.

hey you contradicted yourself :D you said you didnt like girls names ending with an a :p

i know a family who give their firstborn son the middlename "urban". now that's a horrible tradition.

In France, parents called their daughter Morgane. Nice name but her surname is "Renault" ... :err:

edit : I don't know where I'm headed, they call her "Mégane", that makes sense now
