Nargaroth, any fans??

I was at my friend's house yesterday, and i heard he was listening to black metal, i asked him which band is this, he told me it was Nargaroth, he was listening to "Black Metal Ist Krieg" song. Then we started listening to the whole album, and i was impressed how this band was one of the worst bands ever in history of black metal. I added this band to my top 5 worst black metal bands, which also includes Burzum, Mayhem, and some other crap bands.

Are there any fans of this band in this forum?

but the thing is i hate solo bands. I listen to Dimmu Borgir, Immortal, Behemoth(early), Abigor, Marduk, Angelcorspe, Nokturnal Mortum, 1349, Enthroned, Emperor, and many many other, don't have time to post them all.

Nargaroth are quite generic for the most part, though I do like Geliebte Des Regends. But I can't take anyone's opinions relating to black metal seriously if they believe that Burzum and Mayhem are among the worst five black metal bands.

I could personally care less about Nargaroth...especially songs like When The Day Burzum killed Mayhem or whatever it's called. The lyrical theme to this song is incredibly lame.

I've always viewed Nargaroth as a joke band, and I think it's best listened to that way. "Black Metal Ist Krieg" in particular, is always fun to sing in a group when drunk.

thing is, people judge nargaroth based on bmik, even though the Herbsteyd, Geliebte.., and even the raslukas are better. bmik does have some good songs.

Nargaroth released some fine albums like Herbstleyd, Amarok or the both Rasluka parts. on the other hand they have utter crap like Geliebte Des Regens or Prosatanica

Prosatanica is their worst album IMO. It is soooo generic; just another dime a dozen raw black metal album.
