Now 1st let me say im not using the greatest mic in the world, but i really dont think just the mic is the culprit i think it may have to do with my microphone technique.

This is what im using.

Mic: Sure 5155D Dynamic Caridiod mic
Cab: 2x12 with Jensen Bugera Speakers 70w

Now with this setup i should be able to get SOMETHING to my likeing.
But unfortunately i just keep getting this nasally hollow sound.

Could it be the mic ? Or my Micing Technique. I tried andy's suggestions on playing the mic right on the grillcloth just off the center of the cone and i cant get away from this nasally hollow sound.

Im relly thinking about just going out and buying an i5 but it wont be for another 2 weeks (payday)
 (payday)

Any suggestions ?
