been reading this forum a couple weeks now, so I thought it's time to post something. This is a section of a song I recorded a while back and I decided to overwork it.
The drums are actually played and recorded with microphones but I replaced the kick (100%) and snare (blended sample with the recorded snare).
Don't judge the song or performance too much, I'm more interested in your opinion of the whole mix and where I could improve things.
