Happy New Year Everybody
I recorded this song today for New Year's Day. Nothing complicated.. i just started playing/recording two months ago. I wanted a simple progression to test out double/quad tracking..

I did the drums/double track guitars etc. its a simple song and I'm a struggling guitarist. I need some pointers in playing/recording/mixing... etc i just started recording 3 weeks ago... and i'm not much of a guitar player.. I did everything in reaper/ez drums/pitch shift for the bass.
Feel free to give me some constructive criticism on how i can get a better mix/better playing. I use mainly plugins for the guitar.
WHat do you guys think of the lead/rythmn guitar tones?

Also how do you get thick sounding meating guitars?
this is what i did.. i recorded the rythmn three times.. .one panned right/panned left/one panned middle and i mixed and adjusted the volume equally and bought them together for the final mix?
i don't know if thats the right way... all the rythmn were recorded w/different amps
