I'll take another shot... Therion's Sirius B???? This is almost an instrumental in my book. The "lyrics" are not complicated at all.

Hmm, I wouldn't say their very key driven. Stratosphere - the guitar is the dominant part and is the only thing that makes the song good.

I can see it more on Stratofortress, but still - both songs would sound best with guitars and keys both doing leads. That's the whole point of song!

in stratosphere, keys double (or harmonize during the last riff) everything the guitar plays for the fast parts and lay down important chords and second part of a motif in the slow section.
