need recommendation

on buying this semi-acoustic guitar.
i was thinking of buying a 2nd hand Ovation; guess they arent affordable 1st hand.

i'm open to all kinds of brands, so if you have any advice, please gimme some i'm not that familiar on semi's.
my budget would be round 400 euros.

I found an Ovation in a pawn shop the other day, the action was high as fuck though (strings like 1 cm above the fretboard), you never know when you can find a good guitar in a pawn shop but be cautious if you're buyinh from them, they don't know much about guitars and someone could've easily sold them a shitty model.
